ABOUT THE PLAY
In this wacky twist on The Princess and the Pea by Hans Christian Andersen, the royal family is desperate to find a match for their totally uninterested prince. Could this mystery guest finally be “the one”? Only a few teeny-tiny tests stand in her way (okay, and maybe one very suspicious vegetable). But hold onto your crowns—this castle is packed with anxious wedding planners, dancing trolls, and castle guards who are just a little too enthusiastic. What’s the secret behind the mysterious pea? Will the so-called princess prove she’s the real deal? And seriously... what is the “Royal Booty Dance” Find out in this laugh-out-loud, heartwarming tale that reminds us all to celebrate our quirks and stay true to who we are.

Performances usually sell out, so it’s important to be in line early if you need a specific show date/time. Parents can also send students to get in line with an envelope that includes payment and 1st & 2nd show choice options or ask another parent to stand in line for them.

Families of the cast and crew are allowed a limited pre-sale amount and they tend to snatch up the opening and closing performances. If your schedule allows, you should consider attending Saturday at 4pm or 7pm or Sunday at 1pm.

If you hear we are sold out, it’s worth showing up 30 minutes before the show and getting on the waitlist. We’re almost always able to squeeze in a few more (except on Friday night).
