Extended Day Programs

When children enter the Extended Day Programs afterschool program, a whole other world of imagination and growth opens up to them. Through experiential learning opportunities and consistent care, students explore and thrive in a supportive and fun setting. Extended Day is a drop-in program and no advance registration is required. There are daily opportunities to, get homework assistance, create art, and engage in enrichment classes, and indoor and outdoor play. Our Extended Day Programs offer an engaging way to learn beyond the school day!
As a Live Oak family, you’re automatically enrolled in Extended Day Programs. Yes, there is no registration required! If you’re running late for pickup, there is no need to inform us; we will automatically send your student to Extended Day. Students can stay in Extended Day from the end of the school day until 6pm. While in Extended Day, students will participate in structured and unstructured activities. Grades K - 2 use the Grand Hall. Grades 3 - 5 use the Rooftop. Grades 6 - 8 use the Library.
Cost: $10.50 per hour. If you prepay for the year, it’s $3,550. Families participating in the Adjusted Tuition program can have these fees reduced or waived, depending on their Adjusted Tuition level.

Morning Care: Included in tuition. Students can be dropped off at school as early as 7:30am.

Roots & Branches: Additional courses to supplement the Extended Day Programs. These courses range from $400 - $700. Families participating in the Adjusted Tuition program can have these fees reduced depending on their Adjusted Tuition level.

Holiday Care: Extended Day is open when school is not in session for professional development days or school breaks, including our winter and spring breaks! The cost is $100 daily, with adjustments made to families participating in our Adjusted Tuition program.

Extended Day Clubs

Extended Day Clubs are open to grades K-8 and are a part of the after-school program. All students signed in to Extended Day and LOStopia may drop in and participate. EDP Clubs are drop-in activities; any students can sign up for their preferred club on the day it takes place. The Extended Day Program Leaders will announce the club of the day, allowing any interested student to participate. EDP Clubs are free to join, and no prior registration is necessary. The EDP Clubs operate 2-3 days per week, depending on the season, during after-school hours, 3:30-4:30pm.
