Lightning Close Out Regular Season in Winning Fashion
The futsal regular season came to a close this week as the Lightning won five of their six matches and secured three playoff berths in the process.
The Boys JV White team secured the #1 seed in their division following a close 11-9 victory over the San Francisco School this past Tuesday. They will await their playoff matchup. Similarly, the varsity boys secured the #2 seed in their division after topping KIPP Bayview 16-4 on Tuesday and will find out who their opponent will be for next week’s playoffs. Finally, the varsity girls earned an 8-4 win over Synergy to claim the #3 seed in their division. Meanwhile, the JV girls shutout Friends 4-0 last Wednesday before losing to San Francisco School 9-2 in their season finale this past Wednesday, while the Boys JV Green wrapped up its season by defeating Presidio Hills 6-3 this past Monday.
